Chelli’s Blog is my personal website. Chelli’s Blog will have news and information on all the subjects I am interested in or passionate about. Chelli’s Blog came about out of a “How to sell on eBay seminar” that I attended about two years ago. My Mom moved in with me about 10 years ago and I packed up her house and mine and we moved to Las Vegas in 2002. When you combine two houses, you get a lot of excess stuff. When you combine two houses where one was lived in by a Professional PackRat and the other was lived in by the daughter of a Professional PackRat, you get A LOT OF STUFF!

I had heard about eBay, but didn’t know a lot. I went to this seminar and I saw a light at the end of the tunnel and a way to clean out the garage so I could get my car in it. I have been going along, merrily eBaying and attended another seminar, this one on websites and blogs and social networking and all kinds of things that again, I didn’t know a lot about.

I am a firm believer in education and training. Took lots of classes and here is the result. My first blog and I am in the process of developing my first website.

In the process of selling stuff on eBay, I have had to educate myself on several subjects before I could list some of my Mom’s and Dad’s stuff. My Mom had a lot of costume jewelry that she had acquired over the years. I researched the different brands and feel I am somewhat of an expert on a few of them. They will be the subject of pages here or I may do a blog just on jewelry. My Dad had a coin collection and through my research I learned enough about coins to know when dealers were offering me fair value and when they were not.

One thing I will be writing about is my dogs. Right now I have two, a long haired dachshund mix named Scooter and and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Precious. She looks a lot like the puppy at the top. Scooter is all male and Precious is all female. Scooter is very independent and Precious is very needy and extremely jealous.

As I think of things I will be doing more posts. If you stop by, please say Hi and I’ll do the same.
